There has to be a better way

– a thought we all became too familiar with after planning and attending European conferences. Did we meet the right people there? Could we have optimized costs? What input did attendees really take home from the event?

Networking opportunities were missed and the costs of printing material and renting external communication devices, such as audience response- and electronic voting systems, were astronomical. Stakeholders had no clear way to interact and follow up on outcome afterwards.

We wanted to pioneer an app for the busy event planner and conference attendee. An app, that gathers the complete lifecycle of the event on a single platform navigating through different cultures and languages.

The app should be easily accessible through smartphones or tablets on the spot. Be a dynamic tool providing real time updates, surveys, and polls to all attendees while enabling their immediate response and networking powers.

The app that’s with you Before, During and After the event.

Eventbuizz debuted as Copenhagen Business School (CBS) hosted the conference Partnership 2012 featuring former UN secretary Kofi Annan as keynote speaker.

CBS needed a platform that could deliver all program and background info on speakers, sponsors and attendees in real-time. More than that, Eventbuizz showed what was possible by facilitating engaged dialogue and match making between all stakeholders at the conference; the large corporations, the NGOs, the event organisers and the speakers, hereby fulfilling some of the important conference goals.

Eventbuizz gave CBS a global conference in a single app. It became the launch of a trailblazing and efficient planning tool optimising the way meetings, conferences and events are planned and carried out.
